All this would not have been possible without the thousands of students I had in the classrooms and labs, without my doctoral students, without my research group members, without research coworkers, without the teachers and educators with whom I collaborated in my professional life. My evaolution would have been devoid of brightness and joy .

Ovidiu Florin Călțun (born 17 July 1956 in Moinești, Romania) is a distinguished Romanian physicist and educator noted for his research in magnetic materials, nanostructured materials, physics education, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education policy.
